Muc sua chien gion or crispy fried baby squid, smoked chilli and my all time fave smell in the world, kaffir lime. I was kept amused by this dish, I would even call it a fun dish. It seems kind of strange calling it fun. I just could not get enough of the initial crunch, then the teeth gliding through butter sensation. I had inner childish squeals of delight and did all I could to stifle bouncing up and down on my seat. Not even noticing the rise in temperature until it was too late. The flavours were oh so subtle, as they should be when paired with squid. Onlyifitsgood
We had our work EOFY function at Madam Hanoi tonight. I cannot rate highly enough the quality of food and service we received. We were thoroughly looked after from the moment we walked in, nothing was too much of an ask, even with all of our perculiar dietary requirements. Huge thanks to Josh (I think?!) For taking such good care of us!
A stunning venue, great facilities (that handcream in the toilets omg) & I cannot begin to describe how good the food is. I was lucky enough to get this fried egg dish as a vegetarian special - this was the BEST dish and deserves a place on the permenant menu! Thank you so much for a perfect function; we will be back.
